For us at COTP, sustainability is more than just a trend – it is an integral part of our corporate strategy. We take a holistic approach to sustainability and therefore implement numerous measures across our service portfolio.
Our goal: to make a positive contribution to the environment, society and the economy. We invite our guests, partners and employees to join us on this journey.
Laundry cleaning requires a lot of water. By using it conscientiously and appealing to our guests, we can save a significant amount of water. Aerators in water fittings also help to reduce water consumption.
All hotel locations and the headquarters have reached the highest level to be achieved by Green Sign and have acquired the GSTC-compliant sustainability certification.
Thanks to good waste separation and effective waste avoidance concepts, much less waste is produced. We do not use packaging materials and are “zero waste” approved at some locations, for example for breakfast.
Environment, society and governance (ESG) are three dimensions that form the framework for sustainability for us. Within these areas, our aim is to move the hotel industry forward. We implement appropriate measures in a balanced relationship so that we achieve success in ecological, social and economic sustainability – and make a comprehensive difference.
We are very aware of our responsibility towards the environment. That is why we rely on innovative concepts and technologies that focus on the careful use of perishable resources. We want to minimize our CO2 footprint and focus on climate protection.

We live sustainability holistically in our hotels. We offer our guests charging stations for electric vehicles to promote more environmentally friendly mobility and reduce CO2 emissions. We are also committed to high-quality, environmentally friendly and healthy food. We are gradually rolling out our organic breakfast concept in more and more hotels. And thanks to our partnership with DeReCon and Renova, we are constantly optimizing our waste management.
We are proud of our collaboration with Too Good To Go, an initiative to prevent food waste. In our hotels, we implement targeted measures to save surplus food and offer it to guests at a reduced price. In this way, we reduce waste and conserve resources.
By participating in the Fruchtalarm initiative, we bring joy and healthy nutrition to children’s hospitals. Our employees support this valuable work by regularly distributing fresh fruit and healthy snacks to sick children. This is our contribution to society, with which we bring about positive change.
We have our hotels regularly audited and certified by renowned, independent institutes. Our CSR report summarizes all the details of our sustainability efforts.
